Obituary for John H. Saylor

John H. Saylor, 88, of Garrard County, died suddenly Saturday, September 1, 2018 at St. Joseph Berea Emergency Room. He was a Harlan County native born April 21, 1930, son of the late John and Delia Caldwell Saylor, member of Harmons Lick Church of God, and had been a resident of Garrard County for over 30 years.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Jordon Saylor; 2 sisters, Nora Malicote, Rose Lewis; long-term cargivers, Paul and Shirley Broughton; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and church family. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 7 siblings.

Funeral Service 2:00 PM, Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Harmons Lick Church of God. Burial will follow in Stringtown Cemetery. Visitation 6:00 – 9:00 PM Tuesday at the church.
Pallbearers will be: Patrick Himes, Steve Clark, Nathan Miller, David Land, James Caldwell, Corbett Caldwell.
