Obituary for Roy "Sonnie" Quinley

Roy "Sonnie" Quinley, 76, of Berea, died Friday, August 25, 2017 at Baptist Health Berea. He was a life-long resident of Berea, born September 3, 1940, son of the late Roy Everett Conn and Christine Quinley, retired mechanic with Toyota South, member of the Pilot Knob Baptist Church, and the Masonic Lodge. Roy was a family man, always showing his love for his family, and greatly enjoyed family gatherings. He was also enjoyed hunting, fishing and farming in his spare time.

Survivors include 3 sons, Roy (Debbie) Quinley, Robert Clark (Rachel) Quinley, Stacy (Cristy) Quinley; grandchildren, Christopher, Kayla, Emily, Branson, Monica Faye (Chris) Wagers; half-brother, Eddie (Martha) Conn; half-sister, Darlene Begley; Uncle, Junior Quinley; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Faye Shearer Quinley; and 3 siblings, Billy Conn, George Quinley, Roger Moore.

Funeral Service 2:00 pm, Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Pilot Knob Baptist Church with Pastor Greg Lakes and Pastor Wayne Harding officiating. Burial will follow in Pilot Knob Cemetery. Visitation 6:00 - 9:00 pm Tuesday at the church. Pallbearers will be: Chris Quinley. Chris Wagers, Billy Shearer, William Shearer, Jeff Horn, Ricky Clontz.
