Obituary for Linda L. Avery

Linda L. (Queen) Avery, 72, of Berea passed away Saturday, July 29, 2017 in the care of Hospice of Cincinnati in Hamilton, OH. She was born March 5, 1945, in Monaville, WV.

Linda was a 1963 graduate of Logan County High School in Logan West Virginia, and went on to graduate from Berea College and receive an MBA from Eastern Kentucky University. She worked for Berea College for forty two years, taking pride in positively influencing many students throughout her career. She was an avid reader and well known for her travel adventures throughout the United States and multiple international destinations.

She is survived by her son, James T. Avery, Jr. (Christy) of Liberty Township, OH; sister, Barbara Thompson (Malcolm) of Kempner, TX; sister-in-Law, Linda Queen of Wellston, OH; and several nieces and nephews.

Acceptance of Friends and Gathering at 12:00 pm, and Memorial Service 1:00 pm, Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Reppert Funeral Home in Berea, KY with Pastor Rich Livingood officiating. Private burial in the Berea Cemetery.
