Obituary for Don Mills

Donald Surdin Mills, 73, of Berea, died Friday, March 31, 2017 at U.K. Medical Center in Lexington. He was a Bald Rock, KY (Laurel County) native born May 22, 1943, son of the late Delton and Stella Anders Mills, Hyster-Yale Company retiree, member of the Baptist Faith and had been a resident of Berea most of his life.

Survivors include 4 children, Steve (Bonnie) Mills, Ronnie (Melinda) Mills, Lee Ann (Matt) Boyle, Tony Mills; 3 siblings, Bobby (Charlotte) Mills, Raymond (Melva) Mills, Mary Lee (Robert) Moberly; his fiancée, Wilma Wilson; 8 grandchildren, Bruce, Brittany, Mariah, Sabrina, Sierra, Madeline, Austin, Mary Grace; 4 great grandchildren, Presley, Paisley, Luke, Arya; as well as numerous relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Edna Ruble Mills; 2 siblings, Bud Mills and Emma Coffey.

Funeral Service 1:00 pm, Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Reppert Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Bear Wallow Cemetery. Visitation 6:00 - 9:00 pm Monday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be: Matt Boyle, Bruce Lainhart, Austin Mills, James Sanders, Jeffery McHone, Josh Back, Nicholas Wilson. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Bobby Mills, Raymond Mills, Wayne Sizemore, T. J. Nichols, Ken Murray and Brandon Nichols.
