Obituary for Darlene Rose Haney

Darlene Rose Haney, 73, of Berea, died Sunday, June 18, 2017 at her residence after a long courageous battle with cancer. She was a Irvine, Kentucky native born November 25, 1943, daughter of the late Thurman and China Isaacs Rose, retired Parker Seal Company employee, member of West Side Baptist Church, and had been a resident of Berea most of her life.

Survivors include her son, David (Paula) Jenkins; life partner, Clinton "Red" Padgett; 3 grandchildren, Trevor, Kyra, Peyton; niece, Joan (Larry) Chrisman; nephew, Mike (Kathy) Adams; as well as a host of friends and church family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 2 siblings, Leman Rose, Mabel Adams.

Funeral Service 11:00 am Thursday, June 22, 2017 at West Side Baptist Church with Pastor Allen Livingood officiating. Burial will follow in Madison County Memorial Gardens. Visitation 6:00 - 9:00 pm Wednesday at Reppert Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Trevor Jenkins, Daniel Padgett, Steven Padgett, Cody Adams, Wayne Wagner, Shane Chrisman. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike Adams, Larry Chrisman.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions suggested to Hospice Care Plus, 208 Kidd Drive, Berea, KY 40403
