Obituary for Charlotte Hayes

Glenna Charlotte Hayes, 69, of Stamping Ground, died at her home Sunday, October 22, 2017 surrounded by her family following a long illness. She was a Wildie (Rockcastle County) native born August 22, 1948, daughter of the late Coleman and Shirley Mullins Burdette. Charlotte was a cook and bus driver for Roundstone School in Rockcastle County for many years. She enjoyed being outside, enjoying nature, riding ATV's with their son, helping to build their house in Stamping Ground, and making her home beautiful.

Charlotte is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Thomas D. Hayes; son Shannon Hayes (Billie); siblings, Jack Burdette (Teri) and Ted Burdette; grandchildren, Tyler and Tanner; as well as numerous relatives and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 4 siblings, Kenny, Doug, Tommy and Terry Burdette.

Funeral Service 1:00 PM Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Reppert Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Visitation from 12:00 Noon until the time of service. Burial will follow in Maret Cemetery.
